The Mobotix Q25 drivers are not out yet, and I can't see when this will happen, so basically this device is not supported.
I haven't tried the device myself, but the more generic advise would be:
* Ensure have the latest Device Pack. (currently v. 7.1)
* Check you're using the default Admin account on device (I believe it is user: Admin and password: meinsm)
* If possible, do a factory-reset on the device.
* ONVIF drivers will probably not work either, as most Mobotix devices are not ONVIF compliant.
* Keep an eye on the Device Pack releases at: http://www.milestonesys....pport/Download-software/
Best regards,

Any update on this? The q25 isn't populating in the wizard nor can you manually add it as a camera choosing the q24 as the camera type. I wasn't aware the q25 was so different from the q24... I need this working ASAP as I have 8 of these being deployed..

Erich,

as all SW development in this world, also Milestones camera driver development is subject to limited resources, and requires prioritizing tasks. Keep in mind that Milestone supports 3000+ devices, keep in mind the huge task of maintaining them, and you get an idea what this means.

I can see that the Q25 is on the list of cams to be supported in the future, but rather far down the list. So, I think it will be supported, but you should not expect a solution asap.

Best regards,
Torsten

I have been informed that this device will is planned for inclusion in device pack 7.3. This should be available toward the end of April.
