When trying to login to the management application we get the following message

Failed to login. Check if the Milestone Service Control service started.

This service is started, we can login using the client application but not the management application.

Strange indeed, as the only service dependency is with the Milestone Service Control service. Perhaps it's stuck or broken somehow, but try these:
* Enter the Services control panel and ensure the Milestone services are running, and they run as "Local System".
* Try and stop/restart the Milestone Service Control service
* Run the Milestone XProtect Management Application "as Administrator"
* Run a complete Windows update cycle and reboot the server
* If the issue persist, raise as a Support case

I have this issue now on Windows 10, new installation of Milestone Go Protect.

Error message is: Failed to logon, check your username or password.

Nothing wrong with the account and have followed this KB:

https://force.milestones...rt/MccSupportCommunity#!/feedtype=SINGLE_ARTICLE_SEARCH_RESULT&id=kA4200000008cr6

Not impressed so far with Go Protect!

I'm in the same situation as Chris. Windows 10, new installation of XProtect Go and getting "Failed to logon. Check your user name and password." error.

I also followed the instructions at https://force.milestonesys.com/support/MccSupportCommunity#!/feedtype=SINGLE_ARTICLE_SEARCH_RESULT&id=kA4200000008cr6 and it still doesn't work.

I was really excited to try this software but my excitement is dwindling rapidly.

I posted this topic to the new forum:

https://force.milestonesys.com/support/MccSupportCommunity#!/feedtype=SINGLE_QUESTION_DETAIL&dc=XProtect_Go&criteria=ALLQUESTIONS&id=90620000000H45nAAC

I tried what Rual suggested and I still can't get it to work for me.
