cameras,server and smart clients has been installed on 3 diferent VLAN s using and all in one server having no problems to see video ,but when trying to conect with workstations (Smart Client ) no video streaming video is reached.

VLAN are generated by switches and we have disable security in them having no diferent result .

Aditional details: A Workstation with Smart Client conected in the same VLAN Works correctly and can to see video of all cameras, in other VLAN can´t see video stream, the message "connection failure to server, reconecting" appears over black image, but all information about cameras, presets, views Works correctly. could you help me please. Regards

If you look in the management client at one of the recording servers, on the info tab there is a "local web server" URL, does the hostname of that URL resolve from the other vlan machines?
If you add the IP of the server to the public IP of the recording server does the video become visible?

R= I do not very understand, but i trying use Hostname instedaf of IP comunication??

If you add the IP of the server to the public IP of the recording server does the video become visible?

R= No, the problem is here, I add the IP and nothing happened

Cuando trabajas en diferentes vlans y por ende asumo diferentes segmentos de red necesitas hacer en el host file de cada maquina "client" que accesara las camaras un host file que tenga las traducciones de los nombres de tus servers a ip. Milestone aunque todo es configurado en ip, cuando habla con clients en otro subnet o vlan, necesitan esto. Pues cuando el client busca video del server en otro vlan o subnet no lo hace por ip, por defecto lo hace por domain name.

Creo que es lo que Justin decia..., creele, el tipo es un duro. Intentalo, si no, tirame de nuevo y te ayudo, pues ese problema lo tuvimos nosotros.

la respuesta a esto es: agregar las ip y host al archivo de hosts(con privilegios de administrador) de windows, tenia el mismo problema y esto lo soluciono, gracias a Amalfy resolví el problema que tenia !!
