Can anyone help me does LPR1.0 supports Iranian plate system or not?
Is it possible to define a plate system or all plate systems are fixed?

Dear Christian,

In some countries there is some special plates for embassy and other relevant organization,
how can i use Milestone LPR to recognize this plates.
this plates has numbering similar to arabic letter.
is there anyway to customize LPR1.0 to read the special plates.

for example it's very good to define a plate template?

I hope that you have this feature.

Best Regards
Christian

Dear Mahdi,

Normally the modules only contain Passenger vehicles and trailers (Trucks) - in your case you are lucky since the module is of a older date where we got more than that in it.

If we are to collect sample images of a unsupported plates style and send it it Q-Free, our module supplier, for them to do additions to the existing modules - then we should create a real support case.

And then we need a project of a decent sice to make this new development economically feasible.
- what is the size of your project? - how many channels etc.

Kind Regards

Christian

Dear Christian

I've checked your ALPR and found that you don't support iranian license plate numbers.
If you please check if Iran License plate Library is included in your ALPR distribution or not?

Best Regards

Dear Mahdi,

As I don't have any Iranian plates (physical) to test then I need you to log a formal Support case by Milestone support here : Support@milestone.dk

Because key difference is:

1. That you cannot make the LPR solution detect as a Iranian plate?

Or

2. That it detects plates, but only does bad detections e.g. partial hits etc.

To debug this further will need sample footage - Database exports or similar of iranian plates to test on.
And this is much easier to manage in a regular support case so please open up a case.
Kind Regards

Dear Mahdi,

And please see this forum post

This is crucial to a working LPR setup - if you don't have the base requirements then there is a strong chance it will not work.

Dear Christian,

I know about the setup requirements. but it should be noted that the setup does not include Iran License Plate dll.
it Includes Israel, Ireland and etc but it doesn't have Iranian .dll files.

if you could please check if iranian dll is available or not?
i think it's not included in your package.

Best Regards.

Dear Mahdi,

That might be true - depending on when the Module was delivered to us from our supplier then it might not be available in our software package.

But it can be applied afterwards.

Please see the attached.
Extract the files and put them in C:\Program Files (x86)\Milestone\XProtect LPR Server
Then restart the LPR server, the IR modules should now be available Mgmt. Client/Mgmt. Application.
