SEGUENDO LA PROCEDURA GUIDATA AGGIUNGI HARDWARE HO PROVATO AD INSERIRE LA MIA TELECAMERA RIUSCENDOCI CON SUCCESSO,IL DRIVER E PSIA CONFORMANT DEVICE,IL PROBLEMA E CHE QUANDO CERCO DI VISUALIZZARLA NEL QUADRATO ESCE SCRITTO NO MODULE VIDEO,SE IL DRIVER E COMPATIBILE COME SEMBRA PERCHE NON RIESCE A VISUALIZZARE IL FILMATO???

I don't undersatnd the language. No video module is the message I have seen from Input/output devices without video, not sure if it could be relevant.

HELLO TO ALL,
FOLLOWING THE WIZARD ADD HARDWARE tried HO TO PUT MY CAMERA succeeding WITH SUCCESS, THE DRIVER AND DEVICE PSIA compliant, AND THAT THE PROBLEM When I tried to view it in SQUARE COMES WROTE NO VIDEO MODULE, IF THE DRIVER COMPATIBLE SEEMS WHY CAN NOT COME TO SEE THE MOVIE ???

Hej Carmine,

why do you keep SHOUTING ? ;-) (you might not know, but using CAPITALS in a discussion forum is usually considered as shouting)

Even if a cameras is marked as PSIA compatible by the manufacturer, it does not mean it actually is supported by the Milestone PSIA driver. You need to check the "Supported Hardware List" at http://www.milestonesys.com/solution-partners/supported-hardware/.

If your cameras is not listed there, you can only try to experiment a bit and see if you're lucky.

The driver PSIA CONFORMANT DEVICE is supported by MILESTONE ... but I can not see the camera ... NO VIDEO MODULE ... HOW CAN I SOLVE PROBLEM ??? HELP ME

pls. state the exact
  1. camera manufacturer
  2. camera model
  3. camera firmware
  4. version of the PSIA standard
The I will have look. Still, there is no guarantee whatsoever that your camera is supported by Milestone.

so far you talked about PSIA, now you mention ONVIF...

But no matter what - there is no manufacturer "Qualcomm" on the list of supported hardware, meaning that it is not guaranteed that the cam will work with Milestone.

You really ought to check the supported hardware list prior to purchasing cams. Sorry!

HARDWARE SUPPORT OF MY CAMERA IS PSIA conformant DEVICE ... I HAVE CHECKED IN HARDWARE SUPPORTED MILESTONE ...
WHY NO VIDEO MODULE?!?

Carmine,

if a device is supported by Milestone, it is listed along with the driver name, also in case of ONVIF or PSIA

If a device is not listed, it is not supported, and the only thing you can do is hoping that you can make it work by experimenting.

Have you tried using the Universal driver?
