I'm not sure if it is relative, my experience with barix boxes is limited. However we do have the below KB. (629)

Description:

In XProtect®, after adding a Barix Annuncicom 100 or a Barix Annuncicom 200 in the Management Client or Application, you will see a yellow !-icon on the microphone. Moving your mouse over the microphone reveals a Connection is broken message.

Solution:

In the Barix Annuncicom 100 and 200, a streaming IP address / port must be set in the device's HTTP interface in order for it to stream properly. When used with XProtect software, the IP address specified should be that of the recording server computer. The port number can be any open port not already in use on the system.
Kind regards

Justin

Thank for reply.

Without use barix, it's possible acquiring stereo Audio in milestone?
For audio I just use a Axis Videoserver but it's only mono.

To my knowledge, it is mono with the good old G.711 codem (used in plain PCM telephone lines).
