Is it possible to click/double click the events in the LPR tab and have the time in the playback tab synced with the event?

We set up a server with LPR as well as a couple of cameras. The idea was that when a license is recorded, the customer can click (or double click) that event and then watch that video sequence through the other cameras in the playback view. We noticed however that the LPR tab seems to work independently from the playback tab. Are we missing something or isn't it possible to get it to work like this?

This is how it works now:
1. Go to LPR tab.
2. Search for license plate.
3. Click the found event.
4. Take note of the date and time
5. Go to Playback tab
6. Manually set the date and time of the event.
7. Review material

This is how we're trying to get it to work:
1. Go to LPR tab.
2. Search for license plate.
3. Click/double click the found event
4. Go to Playback tab (where time is now synced with the event that was selected in step 3)
5. Review material

This is what I propose you do:
Go in setup, create a new view, in one position drag in the Alarm list, in the other positions drag in the cameras. Right click the Alarm list in the header and make sure it shows "Object".

This is what the users sees then:
Then alarms and cameras. -When in playback mode the user click on an alarm in the list the Smart Client moves to that point in time.

Thank you for the reply Bo, I will try that when on site next time.
One question: Does this solution include the ability to search for license plates from within the Playback tab?

Yes it does, the alarm list has a filter function, so if you filter on a certain plate ("object") you get only those in the list.
