We have encountered an issue using the ImageViewerControl with hardware acceleration enabled in the following circumstances.
When a multi display graphics card is used such as an AMD FirePro W4100 or NVidia NVS510 and the Aero theme is disabled the video will only render on the display set as the primary display. In all other cases the control is created and displayed but no video is rendered. By enabling one of the default Aero themes the problem is resolved. This behavior was observed on 2 different PC’s
Both Win7 64 with SP 1.
Intel Xeon CPU E5-2640 v4 @2.40GHz with AMD FirePro W4100
Intel i7 -4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz with NVidia NVS 510
This behavior doesnt seem to affect the Milestone Client software. As such are there any additional properties / settings that are required in the above circumstance to ensure video is displayed regardless of the Aero setting.
