Access Control plugin - Events live view - automatically focus on most recent event

In the Events tab of the Access Control plugin (see screenshot) when viewing in “Live update” mode we would like to set focus (highlight the row in the grid) on the most recent event. That way, the cardholder picture and details will be automatically be shown on the right hand side. Is there a way to do this?
