Add custom Event Icons

“Select Icon Type”, add Custom Icons to this list in Setup.

We have a pluggin, and want to add custom icons to this list of icons.

Our pluggin is Not for Access Control.

I searched MIPSDK\PluginSamples looking for “icon”.

​Found the word “custom” in a sample that uses ACPlugin,

but that is probably just for Access Control pluggins.

Can this be done in a non-AccessControl pluggin?

The Sensor Monitor sample does use its own icons. Try to explore the sample, hopefully that will give you all the answers.

The Sensor Monitor sample which uses its own icons has got me started. Thanks.

  • I now have my own icon, (thanks to the Sensor Monitor sample).
  • How do I place my icon into List [4] drop-down-list (along with: ‘Lamp’, ‘Door’, ‘Gate’, and ‘Switch’? What would its Parent be ??
