I am trying to make a plugin, that adds additional fields to cameras. So when I go to devices - > cameras and choose a specific camera, the fields right now are “Name”, “Description”, “Hardware name” and “Port number”. How can I add additional fields?
Also, when I go to System dashboards → Configuration and choose Devices and then export, I’d like for these additional fields to be included in the report i export. How would I go about this?
In the pipe-line for MIP SDK 2017r3 and XProtect 2017r3 with planned release in the end of 2017 Milestone Development have a new camera properties plug-in, this will enable you to make an extra tab in the camera properties where you can add your fields. It will include the ability to give information in configuration reports.
Note; it will be made for the Management Client, it will not be made for the Management Application, it will require the users to be on an Advanced / Plus product.
