AI Bridge Streaming Error

I have noticed that the Streaming pod has errors

2024-11-02T10:30:06Z [ b2f426dc-23aa-4782-a409-ccfe157da022/28dc44c3-079e-4c94-8ec9-60363451eb40 ] RTSP SETUP request using TCP handled with error: Error routing stream: 500 Internal Server Error

This happens when a camera goes offline (let’s say due to network issues) and then comes back online. Althrough the steam is visible in Smart Client, the AI Bridge does not do a good job of understanding that it is back online.

Only after I restart the AI Bridge does it come back to life.

How can this be resolved?

Hi Abaas,

Thanks for reporting the issue which we can recognize. We plan to come up with a solution in a future release of AI Bridge.

However, could you please provide more information about the systems you are using:

  1. AI Bridge version.
  2. XPCO version.
  3. Type of the camera reproducing this issue.
  4. This may seem unrelated, but this issue occurs on the K8s cluster with MetalLB installed, correct?
