Analytics events missing CustomTag and Type fields in EventHeader in 2025R2

In 2025R2 a analytics event sent from Event Server with CustomTag and Type fields filled in, arrives in Alarm Manager with them null (viewed in AlarmPreviewWpfUserControl with Alarm alarm = alarmOrBaseEvent as Alarm;) @Eric Bourque​

Same code works fine in 2024R2

This bug was recently discovered, so there is already a report with Milestone Development, but unfortunately there is no fix available yet. I will update here when I know more. Thank you for reporting this.

There is a patch for this issue in the XProtect Smart Client 2025 R2 cumulative patch installers:
