I have XProtect installed. Is the API Gateway installed automatically as part of that or do I need to create an API Gateway manually?
Yes, the API Gateway is an integrated part of the XProtect VMS starting from 2022 R1 release.
Okay, the version I have is 2022 R3 so it should be there, but I can’t find it.
Can you choose to not install the API Gateway when you install XProtect? Could that be why I can’t find it?
FYI I have no experience with XProtect nor am I the person who installed it.
Can you help me?
Yes, it is possible to install without the API Gateway, default “one-server” installation does however include it.
