Understood AXIS P12 Mk II is Main Unit has not been supported by DP even v 8.8

The Axis P12 series is certainly supported, including P1204, P1214, P1214E and P1224 for both XProtect Professional VMS and Advanced VMS, as noted in the Supported Hardware list: https://www.milestonesys.com/solution-partners/supported-hardware/other-xprotect-products/?dp=77&m=7
