Can milestone do a verification of FR subject ID along with card-based authentication details for Decision( ex for entrance door access)?

As we are integrating card based authentication system ( ex: Lenel ) along with FR of milestone to take a decision together for authentication ( to open the door for access).

  1. FR recognize the face plus
  2. Card details sent to milestone for verification ( which is to check details belong to the identified FR )

As with this any proxies can be avoided.

Unfortunately, XProtect rule cannot configure multiple combinations of the rule event. For example; userA swipe his/her ID card and it is authenticated and FR recognize/authenticate it.

It is possible for you to develop a plugin that can listen for both events and the raise a new event if they happen at the same time (or rather close in time).

Thanks Rie Kito.. connector wise saw there is option to adopt is Nguard .

But only thing is like what flexibility we can make Decision by staying at milestone instead of building a bridge where we get both info( from lenel as well as from milestone ) followed by go for a decision.

looks like there is little flexibility or no flexibility to do this at milestone itself correct me if i am wrong, so only provision left is come up with a bridge ( plugin / decision control system ) to do this .

You are right, unfortunately there is little flexibility to do this at the Management Client itself. The rule system can only trigger based on one event not on a logical combination of events.

One suggestion from us is to develop your own plugin which can listen for both events and the raise a new event if they happen at the same time (or rather close in time).
