Can Smart Client Search execute without a Selected Cameras list?

Current behavior looks to be that a Search is only executed after cameras are selected. Can Smart Client execute searches without having an explicit camera list?

I would like to associate all results (where possible) to their corresponding Milestone cameras/devices, will the user have to make sure they specify every individual camera in the system?

It is not possible to execute search without selecting cameras. As a work around, you can use all cameras (you can select camera groups) instead of selecting cameras individually.
