In our integration with the SDK we are currently using the ptz and preset sample concepts to control the camera and make/create presets.
We have a new requirement to support getting the actual presets stored on the camera the same way the xprotect client does.
Like in this menu option below, is this possible in the config api?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to get/load presets from a camera through Configuration API. The Configuration API is missing this functionality.
So there is no way to automate this? it requires the customer to login to the management application and do this for every camera on the system?
Unfortunately, it is not possible. I will put this on the wish-list for future development. We cannot say when (or even if) this will be developed.
