Is there any way to customize the Smart Client user interface to make it usable on a Windows tablet? I want to enlarge the buttons, keep only those functions I am going to use and remove all the others. Do I need to rewrite the UI from scratch? I saw there is something called MIP SDK. Is it supposed to server this purpose? Thanks.
No it is not possible to modify the Smart Client in this way, not even using the MIP SDK.
You could develop you own client application from scratch using the MIP SDK, but that is not a small task.
I believe the Mobile App for Windows phone would be the best bet for a more suitable client. You will need to install Milestone Mobile Server to be able to use it.
