I’am trying to configure access control doors on a Smart Client Map. When I put icons rapresenting door intance on a map, It works, but If I close and re-open Smart Client, maps disappear.
Can you reproduce this issue if you run the Demo Access Control Plugin sample?
What versions? (MIP SDK version? XProtect VMS version? Smart Client version?)
Is you licensing in order? (Check on the License Information in the Management Client.)
Does the map disappear or only the doors in the map?
With Demo Access Control Plugin sample It happens the same thing. Version of all product is 2017 R1. Yes license is in order.
Just the doors disappear while, for example, cameras remain
Restarting the Milestone services does more disappear or become more stable? Have you restarted after the first configuration was done?
First troubleshooting step would be the logs of the Event Server.
I am guessing (hoping) there is information in [C:\ProgramData\Milestone\XProtect](file:C:/ProgramData/Milestone/XProtect) Event Server\logs\MIPLogs or [C:\ProgramData\Milestone\XProtect](file:C:/ProgramData/Milestone/XProtect) Event Server\logs - some kind of error message that give a hint.
There could be something also in [C:\ProgramData\Milestone\XProtect](file:C:/ProgramData/Milestone/XProtect) Management Server\Logs
I restarted PC as well, but the problem remains. It happens also when I change tab in management client.
Is there something that looks like clues in the logs?

No. Perhaps it would be a good idea to investigate deeper.
Can you also reproduce it using the sample?
