Error 401 when getting RCServer/systeminfo.xml file on Husky M500A with activeX using basic user

Hi all,

I’m currently trying to access to the list of cameras using the sample “ImageViewerDemoActiveX_JS.htm” from MIP SDK. When I use “Windows” or “Windows default” authentication it works correctly. When I use “basic” authentication type the server replies 401 error. This error only happens on Husky Server. It seems that the access to RCServer/systeminfo.xml is not authorized with basic user. Is it normal?

The “ImageViewerDemoActiveX_JS.htm” sample does not work with basic users you will have to use Windows users.

Likewise there is no way to get a Systeminfo.xml using basic authentication. Note that basic authentication is very different when comparing the two code bases of Milestone XProtect product, on one hand XProtect Corporate, Expert and Plus product, on the other hand XProtect Professional and Express (and Enterprise ao.).
