Hi, i got an issue installing Milestone Corporate 2017 r2. During it installing the event server it will pop out this error “XProtect Event server (64bits) unable to add user to the database” and the installation become unsuccessful. I searched the forum and thats few solution by removing & reinstalling the sql server or using the script. But none of the solution works.
The following method i also tried, change the domain user to higher administrator, reinstall sql (several times), add sysadmin user to the sql etc. But still failed. The only things is i install the event server using network service account. But the smart client not able to receive any alarms. (Firewall off).
The hardware used : 2 x servers (configure cluster)
- windows server 2016 latest patched
- configured shared drive, firewall disabled
- microsoft sql 2016 standard (install cluster)
- milestone xprotect corporate 2017 r2
Would like find more solution to solve this issue. Even the alarm also not able to receive.
