Export Error

During the export phases with the SDK (2023R2), both in XProtect and MKV formats, I sometimes get the error message _exporter.LastErrorString = “Error writing to stream!”, _exporter.LastError = 1 after several minutes from the start of the 'export.

Please can someone explain to me what this error actually represents?

Also, why doesn’t the same thing happen if you do the same export with the SC?

“Error writing to stream!” should indicate a problem writing the export file. If using network share or similar could potentially cause this from time to time.

The export in the Smart Client should to a large extent do the same. I would expect the same issues, so why you see a difference is a mystery if you export the same to the same location.
