We have developed one Smart Client Plugin and we are implementing Recording export into MKV format (we took reference of “SCExport” plugin from “mipsdk-samples-plugin”). We are able to export the recording data but we are facing few problems.
When we call the start “StartExport” function, it will also export progress bar on Smart Client but we don’t want to display progress bar on Smart Client. we would like to manage progress information in our plugin
We would like to export that into specific path when data export it is adding additional folders inside selected folder. It is adding additonal folder “DateTime → Media Player Format → Camera Name”
Regarding the first question, it is a Smart Client built-in status bar, so it is not possible to remove/hide it.
The 2nd question, it is also added DateTime, “Media Player Format” and Camera Name, you can not change it.
The 3rd question, we could reproduce the same issue as you reported, so we will talk to Milestone Development and let us get back to you after the talk.
I have consulted Milestone Development and they said it could be a bug. So they will start an investigation. I will get back to you when I get a news from them.
Normally, we have 3 releases in a year and the second one (R2) would be June or July. However this is not a fixed date, so please keep eye on Milestone news.
