export video via Mobile server

we are trying to create an export via the mobile server. However, we get an error due to the codec.

“cannot export images because the AVI encoder is not working correctly”.

When I go into the management client, we cannot select an AVI codec there.

I have already tried installing codecs on the Server, but this made no difference.

( both with Xvid → which gave a problem with our antivirus, and k-lite )

About the same problem as in this post from 6 years ago.

Hello Jef,

I have a few questions for you:

  1. What version of XProtect are you currently using?
  2. Could you please check and tell me what the status of the server connection is? The status is located on the upper right corner of the window you have shared as “Connection to server version: …”
