Export with Mobile Server

Hello,

we integrated Milestone using Protocol Integration in our solution.

We use Mobile Server to Export videos in AVI format. In the last few days we found that, over a certain size of the exported video, the file is compressed in .zip. We developed an automatic procedure that copy the file and backups it in our system, and we don’t need the file to be compressed. Is there any way to prevent the file from being compressed, eg. through the GetExport request, or somewhere in XProtect Management Client?

I am guessing you might have the same issue if using the Milestone Web Client or Mobile Client. Do you know if this is so?

I am guessing this could be governed by the general setup. In the Management Client setting up the Mobile Server you see in the Investigations tab a setting: “Limit size of investigations to”. Try to disable this feature or set limit higher. Does it solve it?

There is no way to configure whether to zip export or no.
