Exporting video - No format options

Hello,

I’m using Xprotect Go 2016 R2 and using Smart Client 2016 R2. When I try to export videos there are no format options available and if I click “Start Export” I just get an error message saying I have to choose a format option, which I can’t.

I tried installing both the Xvid codec and Divx codec and also reinstalled Smart Client but nothing has helped so far.

Also, I’m using Xprotect on two different PC’s with Windows 10 installed and both have the same problem.

I managed to solve it myself. What I did was the following:

- Open the Smart Client

- Press the “Toggle Mode” icon so the “Options” symbol appears

- Press the “Options” icon

- Go to “Export”

- For “Media player format”, choose “Unavailable”. Then press “Ok”

- Go back into Options - Export

- Set “Media player format” back to “Available” again and press “Ok”.

All export format options should then be visible again. This happened on all my licenses for Xprotect after upgrading to 2016 R2. For the Go versions no format options were avaiable at all and for the Essential versions only the “XProtect format” was available until I did this.
