Dear all,
When we use Mobile Server Protocol for .net to development, we found that some of 4K Camera resolution output quality are too bad, could we limit the resolution to 720 when we retrieve them from browser?
Please advance & thank.

Hi Kenneth,
I’m not sure I fully understand your integration as you mentioned “Protocol”, “.NET” and “browser” in one sentence.
Could you elaborate a little bit more on that please ?
What integration you are targeting?
For what platform ?
Don’t you using MIP SDK Mobile ?
Also could you check if there are some performance limitations on the machine where Mobile server is installed ? both in terms of CPU of output bandwidth?
What is the version of the Mobile server ?
Is there HW acceleration enabled ?
What happens if it is disabled ?
In general I’m asking all these things because:
Also could you check what is the behavior of Milestone XProtect Web client for those specific cameras ? Is there quality degradation there ?
Another thing.
If you want to limit the output resolution for all the cameras and all the clients of the Mobile server, you could use “Performance” tab of the Mobile server settings in the MC.
There could be set-up resources thresholds, when those limitations will apply (on three levels), or they could be valid always.
