Hi,

Can we generate camera events(motion detection) programmatically using SDK?

No.

I assume you have a regular camera using a camera driver from Milestone because if you are developing your own camera driver (for your own device or for an existing device) you can control this.

This could happen with any camera, if you have motion always you will never get a motion started event.

There is an element of guessing, if you do have a camera source with motion, no motion, motion then you should see the events.
