Hi, I have managed to add the Dahua hcvr5216a-s2 but I have no video image.

The message display “Connection to Dahua DH-hcvr5216a-s2 - camera 1 lost. Trying to reconect…”

I’m on Milestone Corporateversion 10.0a

Hi Catalin,

  1. please make sure that the camera and the client pc are time-synchronized with the Xprotect server
  2. confirm that the firmware of the DHI-HCVR5216A-S2 is the supported: DH_HCVR5x16-S2_Eng_P_V3.200.0004.6.R.20151123 (If you do not have this firmware version installed, please do so. You will have to re-add the camera if you need to change the firmware)
  3. Last but not least, if you have a firewall enabled, please disable it for troubleshooting purposes.

Dear Raul, Many thanks for your quick reply 1. The DVR time is sync with Xprotect Server 2. Firmware bellow (Embedded image moved to file: pic06900.gif) 3. I have no firewall on Xprotect Server, but I have in our organization, could you please specify what ports have to be open? Current situation is as follow: On client side local IP add with port TCP port 37777 is forwarded to public IP add to 37777 port Local HTTP port 80 is fw to 11111 port local RTSP 554 is forwarded to 554 On my office Firewall will accept connection on 37777 11111 554 I can access the DVR with full images and full control from web page using the same machine that hosts XProtect Server. PS: It seems that is a problem with admin account on DVR, meaning that the default password that I have used (admin) to connect on XProtect is not ok when I try to used via web page. Hello again,

I have solved the admin password issue for Dahua DVR, but the problem persists in XProtect Corporate.

I can see all the setting for cameras connected to DVR but I can’t see any video stream.

Again when I make a connection via web browser on the same machine, I can see video streams.

Please advise.

I use Xprotect Corporate 10.a
