Hi Everyone, one question, i am invoking the SOAP protocol on the Milestone Server. Do I need to have a certificate on the client????. Also, i want to know if in the server side there is a log file (when someone does invocations on the server).

If you have an encrypted server then you need to have a certification for the client. Please see this document, it might be helpful –

If you look in [C:\ProgramData\Milestone\](file:C:/ProgramData/Milestone/) , there is a folder for each major server component and there are log files. Also, debug logs is [C:\ProgramData\Milestone\XProtect](file:C:/ProgramData/Milestone/XProtect) Management Server\Logs.

You can access most server logs through the Management Client. See -

I can’t tell which log would be most useful for you but please explore the above.
