On the followup question, you can not do an interconnect update.

Please note that names of the interconnected camera in the remote site and the interconnector camera in the central site is not the same name.

Ok thanks for that. So the only way to “Refresh” the camera names is to DELETE the whole interconnect driver and add it again thus getting all the new names. I noticed the “Update Hardware” will actually tell you how many camera names have changed, but will NOT update the actual camera names (bummer). I don’t know if this is a bug or not but I am using a 2019R2 on one side and a 2019R1 on the remote side. Can you tell me if camera names are supposed to get updated when you do a “Update Hardware”?

I have some universal drivers that I need the names updated on at the remote site. An acceptable solution would be the have some metadata go through with the correct camera name that I can somehow show on the remote smart client but I don’t think the interconnect drivers have metadata. Furthermore, I can’t use any plugins on the remote site.

Any ideas would be welcome.

I’m afraid this is not possible, due to the design if the Interconnect feature.
