How do I install stableFPS?

I am trying to install virtual demo cameras on XProtect VMS, but I have run into a wall. I first ran your batch file, which allows my VMS to detect new drivers, but there is an issue where they will not stream video.

I have checked and there is a data folder for FPS that contains your default sample videos, but for some reason my VMS is stating that it is “disconnected” from the virtual demo camera.

Please note, I am doing all of this on “localhost.” See the below screenshots.

When using Staple FPS most of the settings you need to set are on the device level not on the camera level, so on the last screen capture go one level up and see if you have filled out the appropriate settings.

If the settigns looks right to you but you still do not get working video, please show this in a new screen capture, I might be able to detect if something is missing or wrong.

Thank you. I am attaching two screenshots of the “settings” tabs for the VPS Driver and the camera. It does not look like my settings are configured, but I am unsure how to configure them.

(The first screenshot is in this reply. The second screenshot is in the next one. I can only attach one screenshot per reply.)

I misunderstood, I thought you had a device already using Stable FPS driver, but this is a device for VPS using VPS driver. (Maybe the name should have been a hint for me on this.) So this is not a device using the driver. It is unclear to me if you thought it was or if that is only a misunderstanding on my part.

When you have Staple FPS please find the ReadMe on your harddisk or here -

https://doc.developer.milestonesys.com/html/index.html?base=gettingstarted/stablefps.html&tree=tree_4.html

On page 16 -

Automated XPCO (x64 ONLY)

Please use “InstallStableFPS.bat” file and it will copy needed files in correct location. You need to run the .bat from the machine that has the DevicePack installed but you MUST run it from this directory (where the readme and bat are located) that has all the files. You can run this bat file as “silent” by giving the options as a parameter from a command line or your application/test.

From page 17 and forward the ReadMe will tell you how to add a device using the driver to XProtect.

If you still have no success, can you please make some screenshots on how you add, or try to add, the device?
