Using your 2019 R1 SDK and a Nvidia P620 graphics card, we see from the Level 3 diagnostics windows that only one video stream uses Nvidia acceleration at a time. All the others fall back to Intel (HD530 integral to CPU). All cameras are using H.264 and use Nvidia acceleration when viewed individually. Showing the same camera in two views results in Nvidia acceleration in one and Intel in the other. Is this an SDK issue, an Nvidia issue, or something else. We’d like all our camera views to use Nvidia hardware acceleration.
I will try to reproduce..
For me this works perfectly.
Note that the way it works is load balancing the graphics options. So in my test I saw two ImageViewerControls use NVIDIA, the next two ImageViewerControls use Intel, the next use NVIDIA and so on..
If you observe that you open 10 ImageViewerControls (or however many you can without depleting the RAM on the application) and never more than one is using NVIDIA it might be suspicious. Let me know in more detail what you observe..
PS. For so many issue regarding hardware acceleration we see the issue resolve by simply making sure the latest applicable driver is used for the graphics, if you have not already done so, please check this.
I love gaming so I want to know which graphics card is best for the MacBook pro. I have also asked on Apple technical service and they suggest for the Nvidia GTX 780 (6 GB). Can anyone suggest me any other better option?
