We want to remove this box, or at least be able to change the text in it. Also, a bonus would be to know what its use is. This is all found at the top of the Smart Client on the right corner. Thanks.
This must be your own plugin that does this. My guess is that you used the template creating your plug-in and have not removed what is not used. I have seen this often and truth be told the template makes a lot of classes which are not always obvious in what they do. Try to remove xxWorkSpaceToolbarPlugin.cs
