I am using MultiWindowCommand to dynamic show alarms. When switching from Live to Playback, the window stays in Live mode, but if I create a new window when the main smart client window is in playback, the new floating window starts in playback mode, even with the PlaybackSupportedInFloatingWindow set to false.
You are correct about this behavior. A fix for the issue has now been made and will be released in the Smart Client 2018 R3.
