how to test PTZ controls in testing environment (for DirectShow video)?

Hi

We have to develop a web application for one of our clients to show live camera feed with PTZ controls option. I have successfully tested the web sample example (Mobiles SDK) with the help of DirectShow drivers, but now, i also want to test the PTZ controls in testing environment and i see the blank screen after authentication as they have mentioned that if the camera does not support the PTZ option it will show a blank screen, so can anybody help me how to test the PTZ controls with DirectShow video or is there another way around to do this?

Sorry, but to the best of my knowledge there is no good way to test PTZ except using a PTZ camera.

One possibility, which has its limitations though, is the User Interface Video Provider sample. This sample will give some visible feedback when PTZ command have been used. Perhaps you can try to use this as test camera, but if it does meet your requirements you will have to get a real PTZ camera for your testing.

I have the following concerns .can you please guide me.

1-is it possible to use universal driver for non listed manufacture’s camera and access the PTZ controls?

2- Are PTZ controls accessible over RTSP with ONVIF bridge?
