I recommend that you explore the StatusDemoConsole sample. It might be another language but it would be a good introduction to the Status API methods.
The three samples; Status Console, Status Session Console, System Status Client Console are c# but does show usage of status API.

But I would like to understand how to enable these events on camera or console. I am able to use SOAP API to subscribe to these events and reading status via GetStataus API. But the response is empty. How to simulate these events in Milestone system
The one you mention - “CommunicationError” event - is a pre-defined event on the device and no setup is needed, other device events are configurable, and my guess is that those are the ones you would like advise how to configure.
In the Management Client pick the camera device, on the Events tab, push the Add button, then you can add events, the events you can add will depend on your camera device.
