I keep receiving an error while trying to test newly created analytic events.

The test fails on the final stage with the error:

Invalid Analytic event received by event server.

I have double-checked the rules/alarm definitions/ etc. to make sure they were not the source of the problem.

The admin manual does not give any useful information to fix this problem. Has anyone else run into this issue and found a solution?

I assume that the analytic event definition (made by you) does not match the format of the analytic event which is actually received.

Where does your event come from? Can you (in the sending application) double-check the format of the event?
