Import video to recording server

Hi,

Is there a way to import video file into the Milestone recording server, so that i can playback the video in smart client?

And another thing is that I test the UIVideoProvider sample, the picture is sent as live stream, and the recording time is not the time I assign. What should I do to make the time shown in time bar in the playback interface as same as OSD time of current frame?

You can only make the recording server record video at the time it comes in unless you are using a camera and camera driver that support edge storage. The MIP driver does unfortunately not support edge recordings.

Generally speaking is the recording server very good at making sure video comes in and is correctly time stamped and stored real time.
