I would like to permanently make 4 cameras as part of a 2x2 view and make that view a camera/device that I can drag into any view I am using in the Smart Client. Any help creating this or pointing me in a direction would be greatly appreciated.
It is not something you can setup, so developing a plugin will be required.
It would be possible to make a MIP Plugin view item that can be dragged onto a view. Perhaps you can explore the Video Preview sample which presents one camera and expand on it to use and show 4 cameras. The view-item would fit into one view position on the Smart Client window.
