Migrate or Install Smart Client on a Different Computer

I am in the process of building a CCTV system at my house. I’ve used and managed/setup Milestone xProtect many times both professionally (years ago) and personally. I currently have the “Typical” setup on a computer including all software, however, the computer cannot handle the load of running the Smart Client along with the recording server, etc. I would like to keep the recording server on the existing computer (I’ve got a lot of the setup completed already) and migrate the Smart Client (and whatever else is needed) to a different computer. The recording server works perfectly along with the management client, etc. However, when I launch the Smart Client and/or access the Smart Client remotely the CPU spikes to 100% and my video feed is choppy and the sound is delayed.

I don’t necessary need to “migrate” the Smart Client, a re-installation will also be fine, however I cannot have 2 computers on the network with the same domain and hostname so I am asking how do I create a separate Smart Client computer to run the Smart Client and whatever other necessary “things” without difficulty. Further, do I need to make any modifications to the existing computer that will act as a recording and management computer.

Do I also need to migrate/reinstall the mobile server?

Basically I need to create a separate system that runs the “camera viewing capability” because the existing system doesn’t have enough CPU to run the entire setup recording and viewing as it stands now.
