Could you help me understand the behavior that we are seeing from Milestone when we use the REST API to control PTZ functions? We are sending commands to move the camera and then stop. The stop is not immediately acted upon, and the camera continues to rotate.
This will not be a very fun experience for the user as the camera will overshoot where they are trying to view.
If there is a delay in the delivery and execution of the stop the camera will overshoot.
If there is a delay in the delivery of the camera images it will be twice as bad, because when you see the camera has turned to a point it has already turned much further.
This is not a comfort I know. Could you please comment on whether you are testing with video coming from the camera that is delayed.
