You need to enable and configure access for generic events before you can use them. In the Management Client → Tools → Options - Generic Events tab (the options dialog has many tabs and this is furthest to the right so use the arrow on the top).
You have to enable and configure which IP addresses are allowed to send the events..

This we saw and was working from local milestone system, but from other virtual machine it was showing no access here as well, may be we need to configure allowed ip address which we need a menu navigation for, can you please give us a navigation for it..

Got it working now thanks a lot much appreciated, a last question can we also give ip range instead of actual ipaddress in there.
You can input many IP addresses separated by semicolon but cannot input ranges of IP addresses..
