no audio while playing recording from alarms

Hi,

When an alarm is triggered and i play back the alarm in the alarm manager the audio of the recording is not played. however unlike the questions that complain about audio not being played in recordings and being played in live view, if i use the playback tab to playback the recording the audio seems to be recorded.

Since i’m only interested in audio and not video and the alarm is triggered via a analytics event, would it be possible to play the audio when the alarm device would be set to the microphone of the camera if that is possible.

Aditionally the recording atm is triggered by setting a second generic event that is triggered by the alarm which in case has a start and stop recording timer trigger defined which triggers the recording of the camera with a prerun of 2 seconds and stops 10 secs behind the stop trigger.

The second question that is just indirectly linked is that I would like to autoplay the alarm as soon as it is raised beginning with the 2 second prerun that is defined and stopping when the recording stops.

I think the alarm must have a camera as source, and that camera must have a default microphone set up.

Is you micrphone recording settings to record always or to follow the camera? Try with record always if that is not what you already have.

There is no automatic functionality beyond that of the alarm list and alarm preview, where picking an alarm on the list starts the playback.
