Hey folks, I knew that I wanted to interact with my Milestone system using Python but after following the examples up through how to request a token, I had no idea where to go from there.
So I used ChatGPT to help me work through some basic tasks and am starting to feel more confident about using the API. I’ll attempt to attach a chat log where you’ll see that ChatGPT doesn’t initially produce working code, but by looking at the error messages, I was able to see what was probably wrong and then trial-and-errored my way to figuring how to use the API.
We haven’t evaluated what you found using ChatGPT. If you have questions on the use of the REST API that you now think relevant after what you learned you are welcome to post questions.
