No PTZ conrols for a MIP driver

Hello, I’m developing a MIP driver based C# application.

The application behaves like a camera - with the .Net C# library providing the JPEGs for transmittion (Based upon the UIVideoProvider example).

My problem is that the SmartClient application doesn’t show any PTZ controls and I’m not getting any PTZ events at my C# application.

I’ve found some posts like this one:

But unfortunately I don’t have any “PTZ device” definition under “Hardware properties” when I create the MIP camera hardware in the XProtect management application.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a PTZ camera and cannot be configured to not use PTZ and therefore there is no “PTZ device” definition under “Hardware properties”.

I wonder if you might either have a very old device pack or a very old MIP SDK.

OK, thanks it worked out.

I just reinstalled the server and now it’s OK.
