Currently I got a Essentials+ server running with 8 camera’s. One of them is a PTZ camera.
I would like to setup PTZ Patrolling, but as far as I know its only possible for the advanced version.
Question: Am i still able to use this 8 camera’s with the advanced basic license? Or do I have to buy 8 camera licenses. (because essentials+ have 8 cams included)
If you need a capability from XProtect Corporate for one camera it would mean that your VMS (if you have one, not multiple) will have to be XProtect Corporate.
I do not imagine that you would find it practical to have one server with XProtect Corporate installed hosting one camera, and then a second server with XProtect Essential+ installed.
For very large installations with multiple sites it is sometimes seen that various license options and use “interconnect”, but this will not be a good option for a very small installation.
