When starting the PlaybackUser demo project, the PlaybackuserControl properly shows recordings on the timeline (red). Somehow the red indication disappears when jumping to another day and skipping some sequences forth or back.
Is this related to the shown Timespan? Or is it possible to force the timeline to reload sequences?
Regards,
Michael
The shown time span is hardcoded to one hour. There is no reload method, it should reload while in use. I was able to experience the same behavior as you describe it and I will try to investigate deeper.
Any further update on this? The application we are developing would definitely benefit from a timeline control that properly shows the recorded segments on it.
I did not get any further, we will make a formal analysis at Milestone. Thank you for the reminder.
A hotfix has been developed. The hotfix is suitable for MIP SDK 2017 R1. The hotfix is a new VideoOS.Platform.dll, replace this file in your integration with the hotfixed version.

If you can provide feedback whether this hofix solves the issue in your setup it will be appreciated.
Hi Bo,
I tried the hotfix but experienced the same issue as before.
Regards,
Michael
We did solve an issue that we saw here, so we must suspect there is more issues perhaps. We will have to make a dll with extended logging to understand what goes on where we cannot reproduce. We hope you will run such a test for us. We will get back when we have developed an edition with the logging of debug info..
A special and very specific debug dll has been developed. Can you please get this in your support case?
Much appreciated!
Are there others currently seeing this issue?
(I will open cases for you if you are willing to send debug information, I do cases in order to avoid a big exchange of debug log information etc. here on this thread.)
