Hello. I’m developing an Event Server plugin that handles alarms from another system and sends it to the Event Server. I’m using the code from LibraryEventGenerator sample to create my alarms. I wanted to know if it’s possible to specify a plugin-defined item as the EventSource of the alarm?
Yes. You can use our old Access Control sample in order to:
1. Create the items
2. Then use the item when the event generates
